· Company earnings are improved because the MDT and Taxi Meter are integrated (i.e. are the one unit), enabling automation and control of Taxi Meter functions within the data dispatch system (e.g. you can enforce correct tariffs at the correct times). Additionally the Driver and Passenger experience is improved with less in-Taxi wiring and instrumentation (i.e. improved visibility and tidiness).

· Passenger experience is also improved from the interfacing of the MDT with card-based transactions such as Total Mobility, Loyalty and Credit Cards -the passenger can see the metered fare passed to the card, and the whole payment process is faster.

· Operational efficiency is improved by having live map data at Base showing all your Taxis’ locations and status (so showing Taxis and Base where all Taxis really are).
